The Association will remember him fondly, in particular for his role in increasing InterManager’s prominence in Asia and for strengthening Filipino ship management. We look forward to continue working with Gerardo who will remain a member of our Executive Committee.”
Speaking of his Presidency, Mr Borromeo said: “As I step down and hand the reins of the Association over, I remain confident that the efforts that have pushed InterManager forward over the past four years, even in very trying times, will further strengthen the Association’s position in this dynamic global industry.”
Mr Borromeo’s successor will be decided at InterManager’s AGM later today (Tuesday 4th October).
