InterManager is pleased to welcome to the ranks of its membership ship manager Transocean Pte Ltd and maritime payroll company Brightwell Payments.
Singapore-based Transocean was formed in 2010 and currently manages 17 vessels comprising VLCC, FSO, Crude, Product, Chemical tankers and some offshore vessels.
The company’s managed vessels are mostly flagged to Liberia, Panama, Singapore, Hong Kong and Nigeria and trade worldwide. The company’s manning services provides crew from Asia, Europe, Africa and India.
The Transocean group has expertise in Ship Management, trading, chartering bunkering, fender operation, STS Management, ship agency, workshop, ship inspection, pre-vetting and marine insurance co-broking. It also has offices in Mumbai and Lagos.
Transocean is a member of the Singapore Shipping Association and the MASSA association in India and is also ISO 9001 – 2008 certified and TMSA-compliant for tanker management.
Joining as an Associate Member, Brightwell Payments offers comprehensive, prepaid card solutions for corporations and consumers.
Its ‘OceanPay’ payroll card streamlines the maritime payroll process as well as complying with international regulations. OceanPay provides a great alternative to cash or check payroll distribution while offering an electronic payroll solution for crewmembers without traditional banking accounts.
