Dear Members of InterManager,

I am pleased to inform you that we have been invited by SIGGTO to join their regional meeting in Singapore on Thursday January 10^th, at a place to be confirmed.

As you know SIGGTO is the Association of Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators, and many of their members are also our members.

While this meeting is initially planned by SIGGTO, they have kindly invited us to come along and share the attendance and the agenda. So, there will be SIGGTO related speakers and InterManager related speakers.

On InterManager side,

1. Our President Ole Stene is hoping to attend, and will present the developments at InterManager over the last months.  As you know many exciting things are happening in our Association, such as the Code of Ethics, the Cadet Policy, the work of our various Committees, etc.
2. In addition, we have invited Markus Schmitz of SoftImpact to talk of an issue of common interest to all of us: the development of a common integrated shipping software environment. This is an idea which would benefit all the shipping industry but which requires the gathering of goodwill for that matter.
3. Finally I would welcome suggestion from our members for additional topics of discussion, as long as these topics are for the common interest and are not sales presentations. Each presentation is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. Matters can be technical, human, or covering any other issue of common interest.

SIGGTO will advise us of their speakers and the topics covered in due time.

So I am pleased to extend an invitation to all our members, and more particularly those leaving in the area, to come and join the SIGGTO meeting in Singapore on Thursday January 10^th. The meeting will probably start with a light lunch, followed by an afternoon of presentations.

If you are receiving this mail, and are not living in the South East Asia area, perhaps you could forward it to some of your colleagues that would be interested.

Please confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience. The number of places is limited and we would like to be able to welcome you.

I will forward the final agenda and the meeting place details as soon as I know them.
