Seacurus Bulletin – April 2015

Good morning,

Please find attached the April edition of the Seacurus Bulletin and link to the page turn version online http://goo.gl/54omVy

In this issue we take a look back to the accidents which have shaped the industry today and ask whether the rules make shipping safer or less of a risk? While an industry report seems to suggest that things have been improving in the past couple of years, it is no time for complacency – the growing size of ships means that if an accident does happen, then the costs could spiral ever higher. We also look at a range of issues such as fatigue for seafarers and the rising tide of piracy.

Best regards,

S Jones
